Introducing reggae fusionistas: Natural Right
We’re delighted that Natural Right are going to join us at The Music Baa, so come and enjoy their unique original sound that fuses reggae, indie, soul and ska vibes. What you’ll get is a heady mix of drums, saxophone, keyboards and sometimes lead guitar.
The band is led by founding members Alex Rivers on vocals and guitar, along with Andy Whitaker on bass.

Introducing blues funksters: Jon Amor Trio Nominees, at the time of writing this, for UK Blues Awards 2026 Band of the Year, Jon, Tom and Jerry are gracing us with their gritty blues! When we were prepping for this gig with Jon, we asked if he had any comments. ‘I can't really think of anything except that Jeff Beck once referred to me as 'that lanky streak of piss from The Hoax.’ You probably can't use that.’ Oh, yes we can, Jon.
Vince lee & Sophie Lord* ARTIST SPOTLIGHT *
Yay! Vince Lee and Sofie Lord are coming back to play for us at Hillbilly Hootenanny for the third time because we love them so much! Vince has been playing and singing the blues in all its forms since the mid 80s and has influenced many likeminded musicians with his guitar playing. Sophie was one of ‘em. Recently returning to Plymouth after ten years working as a bass player in London, she teamed up with Vince in early 2022.

We’re delighted to be welcoming for the first time to Grass Roots Grazin’, the queer, alt-folk agitators Dryadic.
This west country trio deliver a tight, infectious blend of rootsy folk with a melodic pop flair, peppered with hearth-soaring vocals and vibrant fiddle licks.

After a triumphant first tour in spring 2025, Winston McAnuff is back on stage this time with his children Nadia and Kush McAnuff to unveil their first family album!
Known worldwide as the “Electric Dread”, Winston McAnuff is a living legend of Jamaican reggae. From Fixi to Tiken Jah Fakoly, Bazbaz to Java, he’s built a career on fearless collaborations and boundary-breaking performances.
There are few bands whose name is a direct reference to France’s longest river. The story of The Ligerians- the French word ‘Ligérien’ refers to the people living along the banks of the river Loire - began in Tours in 2010.

Their sound, deeply rooted in reggae and punk and enriched with elements of hip-hop, ska and rock, delivers energetic grooves, insightful lyrics and catchy melodies that get the crowd moving.

Introducing great guitar worksters: DSB! Dan’s coming back again with Matt, James and Ben, which is super news as we’ve been suffering from guitar-gig withdrawal. For those of you yet to sample DSB (formerly known as The Dan Sowerby Band), think blues, roots, retro guitar play, electric bass and compelling songs.
