Dryadic * ARTIST SPOTLIGHT *
Introducing rootsy folk trio: Dryadic
We’re delighted to be welcoming for the first time to Grass Roots Grazin’, the queer, alt-folk agitators Dryadic.
This west country trio deliver a tight, infectious blend of rootsy folk with a melodic pop flair, peppered with hearth-soaring vocals and vibrant fiddle licks.
Expect humour, foot-stomping feminist protest songs, travelling folk tales and dreamy epic ballads. Oh, and somewhere in there are a five-string fiddle and double bass. What more could you wish for.
Having captivated audiences across the UK, from Glastonbury’s Avalon stage and Brighton Pride to the Hackney Empire and Stoud’s Subscription Rooms, Dryadic have shared bills with folk powerhouses like Grace Petrie, O’Hooley & Tidow, and Heather Peace.
They’ll have you singing along, without doubt.
Welcome Zora, Aly and George to The Music Baa!

“[The song Rainbow Family is] a true masterpiece of indie folk” - Indie Dock Music
“Mansplain is an unapologetically queer anthem drenched in luscious fiddle hooks and lavish harmonies, a funny, in-your-face but poignant takedown of those dreaded unsolicited opinions that are frequently hoisted upon us.” - Loud Women
