Introducing the princes of electric blues and soul from the 60s and 70s: The Cinelli Brothers

We’re ever so pleased winners of the 2024 UK Blues Band of the Year, The Cinelli Brothers, are going to grace us at Hillbilly Hootenanny for the first time. Their impressive provenance includes their debut album Babe Please Set Your Alarm bagging number 2 in the 2018 Independent Blues Broadcasters Association (IBBA) listing, selling out at London’s 100 Club in 2021 in conjunction with the launch of their second album Villa Jukejoint and the latter going on to hit number 1 in the IBBA charts of that year.

Their 2022 album No Country for Bluesman features some blues royalties from the UK scene, such as Ian Siegal, Dana Gillespie, Zac Schulze, Alice Armstrong and many more. They went on that year to win the UK Blues Challenge. Since then, they’ve ranked second at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis and won Best Band Award at the UK Blues Federation Awards.

The latest album Almost Exactly came out in 2024 with a release party at The Cutting Room, New York, climaxing with the number 1 slot in the IBBA charts and the rating of the most played album of that year.
